Dicalcium phosphate is a white, fine powder, that is obtained from bovine and porcine bones during the production of food and pharmaceutical gelatin. The bones come from healthy animals, slaughtered in authorized slaughterhouses and their slaughter-byproducts on the basis of slaughter animal and meat investigation that is released for human consumption (VO (EU) 853/2004). It is suitable for farm animals (except ruminants), pets, fur animals and also for technical use.
